
Studies have demonstrated that DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. Other researchers have shown the use of DHA in helping to support both the cognitive development of children and the treatment for behavioural disorders.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has establised their specific daily recommended dosage for normal brain function and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg DHA.
